- 4 c. plain flour
- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 2/3 c. Crisco
- 1 egg
- 1 c. instant potatoes (use 2/3 c. instant potatoes and add water to fill cup)
- 1 1/4 c. warm water
Directions

1Mix flours, sugar and salt.

2Add yeast, dissolved in warm water, Crisco, egg, instant potatoes and water.

3Knead hard for 10 minutes.

4Let rise until doubled in bulk.

5Refrigerate overnight. When ready to use, make out rolls.

6Let them rise and bake at 425°.

7Brush with butter when half done.
