Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. diced, peeled tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 c. finely chopped green pepper
  • 3/4 c. finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped peeled cucumber
  • 1 (12 oz.) can V-8 juice
  • 1/2 c. beef consomme
  • 1 clove crushed garlic
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. each: salt and pepper
  • dash of hot sauce

Directions

    Combine all ingredients in blender; blend thoroughly.

    Serve in cold mugs or bowls.

    Add seasoned croutons and paprika.
