  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. pork sausage
  • 1 to 2 onions
  • 1 c. uncooked rice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • garlic to taste
  • 1 large can V-8 juice

Directions

    Core cabbage and parboil until tender.

    Cut hard top if any off each leaf.

    Combine first 6 ingredients and mix well.

    Make rolls out of mixture and roll them in leaves.

    Put them in a big pan and cover with V-8 juice.

    If that doesn't cover it, put in some more. Bake in 350° oven 4 to 5 hours or 250° oven for 8 to 9 hours.
