  • 6 quarts Popped Popcorn
  • 16 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cups Karo Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla

    Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.

    First youll need to pop your popcorn, so that you have 6 quarts of popped.

    Spread popcorn in a single layer across multiple baking sheets.

    Mix butter, sugar, Karo syrup and salt in a heavy pan.

    Heat to boiling.

    Allow to continue boiling for 5 minutes.

    Then remove from heat and add baking soda and vanilla.

    Stir well.

    Pour the caramel mixture over popcorn and stir to coat as evenly as possible.

    Bake in your preheated oven for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
