  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 large garlic cloves
  • 14 cup ginger, diced
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, diced
  • 1 (14 ounce) cansmoked diced tomatoes
  • 1 12 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon malt vinegar
  • salt
  • 14 cup fat-free half-and-half or 14 cup cream
  • 14 ounces garbanzo beans (chick peas)

Directions

    Caramelize the onion over medium heat for (18-20 minutes).

    Add in garlic, ginger and jalapeno cook for (2-3 minutes).

    Add in garbanzo beans.

    Add the half & half and simmer for a few minutes.
