- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. whole or chopped pecans
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 ready to bake pie shell
Directions

1Beat eggs until foamy.

2Add sugar, syrup, melted butter and vanilla; beat until mixture thickens.

3Add nuts and pour into a pie shell.

4Bake for 10 minutes at 450°, then reduce heat to 325° and bake until filling is firm (approximately 35 to 40 minutes).
