  • 2/3 c. butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 6 medium-sized apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and vanilla, beating until light and fluffy.

    By hand, stir in flour, soda, salt and cinnamon, alternately with apples.

    Stir in nuts.

    Spread batter into greased 13 x 9-inch pan.

    Bake at 375° for 40 to 45 minutes or until done.
