  • 3 tsp. butter flavoring
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. vegetable shortening
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 4 sq. German sweet chocolate, melted

    Cream sugar and shortening until light and fluffy.

    Add eggs one at a time and beat well.
