- 1 (4 oz.) pkg. Baker's German's sweet chocolate
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1 c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs, separated
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. self-rising flour (Sunflower brand)
- 1 c. whole milk
Directions

1Melt chocolate in boiling water.

2Cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg yolks.

3Stir in vanilla and chocolate.

4Beat in flour and milk.

5Beat egg whites until stiff.

6Fold egg whites into batter and mix.

7Pour batter into 3 (9-inch) layer pans, lined with wax paper.

8Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

9Cool and frost.
