German Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

  • 3 c. Bisquick
  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 c. warm water
  • 1/2 c. cold water
  • 1 stick butter

Directions

    Mix yeast and warm water.

    Let stand 10 minutes.

    Blend in Bisquick.

    Add cold water.

    Mix into balls (4) and roll out into rectangle, 1/4-inch thick.

    Melt 1/2 stick butter and brush onto each rolled out rectangle.

    Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture.

    Roll as for jelly roll.

    Slice into 1-inch pieces.

    Lay, cut side down, on lightly greased cookie sheet.

    Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

    Brush with butter and roll in cinnamon mixture. Serve warm.
