- 1 lb. smoked beef sausage
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 medium onion
- 1 large apple, peeled, cored and grated
- 12 small red potatoes
- 1 1/2 c. sauerkraut
Directions

1Melt butter in large skillet. Add onion; cook until tender. Add apple, brown sugar, potatoes and sauerkraut; mix well. Place sausage on top of sauerkraut mixture. Cover and cook on medium-low heat 30 minutes. Serve hot. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
