- 100 g bacon
- 200 g onions or 3 onions
- 200 g carrots
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 2 lbs beef, for stew
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 (14 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- salt and pepper
- 600 g bell peppers, diced
- 2 (8 ounce) cans mushrooms
- 2 cups broth (or more)
- 1 cup sour cream or 1 cup flour, mixed with water
Directions

1Cut the bacon and onions into small slices.

2Clean and dice the carrots.

3Cook the bacon pieces until limp, then take out of the pot.

4Add oil to the bacon fat and brown the meat in small portions.

5Now add the onions and all the remaining ingredients, except sour cream.

6Cook everything in a slow cooker for 8 hours on low heat.

7Add sour cream or thicken with water/flour mixture.

8Season to taste.
