  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1/4 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 (10 oz.) can beef bouillon
  • 1 (4 oz.) can chopped mushrooms, drained
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. caraway seed

Directions

    Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, milk and egg; blend well.

    Shape into meatballs.

    Melt butter in skillet and evenly brown meatballs.

    Add beef bouillon, mushrooms and onion; simmer for 30 minutes.

    Combine sour cream, flour and caraway seed; stir into broth.

    Cook over very low heat until gravy thickens.

    Good as appetizers or over noodles for a main dish.
