- 1 c. shredded coconut
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 box German chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 box confectioners sugar
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Combine coconut and nuts and spread in the bottom of a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

3Prepare cake mix by package directions.

4Carefully pour this over the coconut-pecan mixture.

5In a saucepan, heat the margarine and cream cheese until mixture is melted.

6Stir in sugar.

7Mix well and spoon over cake batter.

8Bake 35 to 40 minutes.

9Do not cut until cooled.
