- 3 cups chicken, cooked and cut in large pieces
- 1 (8 ounce) can pineapple chunks in heavy syrup
- 14 lb margarine
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 large garlic clove, minced
- 14 cup vinegar
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 14 cup water
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 14 cup water

Directions

1Drain pineapple chunks, reserving syrup.

2In skillet, brown chicken in margarine.

3Add reserved syrup, broth, vinegar, sugar, soy sauce and garlic.

4Cover; cook over low heat 40 minute.

8Combine cornstarch, ginger and water; gradually stir into sauce.
