  • 3/4 c. shortening
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 4 Tbsp. molasses
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves
