- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 1 tablespoon self-rising flour
Directions

1Preheat oven to 300F and prepare a baking sheet (grease and flour, or line with baking paper).

2Cream butter and sugar, add beaten egg and mix thoroughly.

3Sift ginger and flour through a sieve into mixture and mix well for six minutes.

4Roll into balls and place on baking sheet.

5Bake for approximately 30 minutes.
