- 3 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 3/4 lb pork strips
- 1 1/2 to 2 tsp garlic
- 6-8 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 4 1/2 tsp cornstarch
Directions

1Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir-fry the pork and garlic for 3 minutes. Combine soy sauce, sugar & ginger. Add to skillet. Reduce to medium heat. Stir fry 3-4 minutes more or until pork is no longer pink. Combine cornstarch and water and mix until smooth. Add to skillet. Bring to boil. Boil and stir for 2 minutes. Serve over cooked rice.
