Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless beef pot roast 1 to 2
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 4 cloves garlic pressed
- 2 teaspoons fresh ginger root grated
- salt to taste
- 1 cup water 1 to 1 1/2
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3/4 cup rice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions

1Brown beef in oil then rub with mixture of garlic and ginger.

2Salt lightly.

3Transfer to crock pot.

4Pour in water and soy sauce.

5Cover and cook on Low for 7-8 hours or on High for 2-3 hours and then on Low for 2 hours more.

6Remove 1 1/2 cups broth from pot.

7Place in saucepan with rice and salt.

8Bring to a boil.
-
9Reduce heat.
-
10Cook until rice isil done, 18-20 minutes.
