Ginger Sesame Chicken

  • 13 cups Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Lime Juice (can Substitute Lemon Juice)
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • 2 Tablespoons Peeled, Chopped Fresh Ginger (or Use A Teaspoon Of Powdered Ginger)
  • 2 pounds Bone-In Chicken Legs Or Thighs
  • 2 Tablespoons Sesame Seeds
  • Cooked Rice, To Serve

Directions

    Mix soy sauce, lime juice, honey, and ginger.

    Marinate chicken in the soy sauce mixture 1-2 hours, turning once or twice.

    Place chicken, skin side up, in shallow pan.

    Bake at 375 degrees F for 50 minutes.

    Raise heat to 425 degrees F and bake 10 minutes.

    Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve with rice.

    Note: Dont substitute boneless, skinless chicken breasts; this recipe really needs the dark meat!

    Also, I usually line my pan with foil to make clean-up easier.
