- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 cup butter
- 12 cup candied ginger, chopped
Directions

1Combine icing sugar, flour and ginger.

2Cut in butter.

3Mix together with your hands, as per a pie crust.

4When mixture holds together work in candied ginger.

5Press into an ungreased 9-inch square pan, about 1/2-inch thick.

6Prick through to bottom of the dough with a fork.

7Bake at 300 degrees F for 50-60 minutes.

8While warm, cut into desired shapes.
