- 3/4 c.crisco
- 1 egg
- 4 tbsp light molasses
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 2 tsp soda
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp clove
- 1/4 tsp salt
Directions

1Cream crisco, egg, brown sugar and molasses. Stir in dry ingredients; chill dough and roll into walnut size balls.

2Dip balls in sugar and put on cookie sheet separated.

3Sprinkle water on top; Bake 350° 9-12 min.

4Still soft when done. don't overbake.
