- 1 large young ginger
- 5 cup water (or as needed)
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp ground ginger
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
Directions

1Slap the ginger hard with the back of a knife.

2Put the ginger and water into a pot and boil on medium.

3When the water starts to boil, add in the sugar and stir until it dissolves.

4Leave to boil for another couple of minutes.

5Serve it hot :)

6For the simple version, add all ingredients into a cup and stir.

7Filter the mix into another cup (the ground ginger does not dissolve) and voila.
