- 1 can pears

1crumble ginger loaf cake in dish

2pour pear juice and let to set in fridge (alcohol ie rum or brandy ) with pear juice is nice too

3make a thick custard (carnation milk gives a nice rich taste) leave to cool

4add pears on top of ginger mix

5add custard cover and leave to set

6a layer of bananas on top of custard is also a nice twist

7whisk double cream with icing sugar till stiff
