  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. molasses
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. sour milk

    Sift together dry ingredients.

    Alternately add dry ingredients and milk to molasses mixture.
