  • 12 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 34 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 14 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 14 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 14 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 14 teaspoon baking soda
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 12 cup mild molasses
  • 13 cup milk
  • 13 cup sugar
  • 14 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • powdered sugar, if desired (optional)

    Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour 2 mini (53/4x3-inch) loaf pans.

    Combine flour, spices, baking soda and salt in small bowl.

    Combine molasses, milk, 1/3 cup sugar, butter and egg in medium bowl; beat until well mixed.

    Reduce speed to low; add flour mixture.

    Beat, scraping bowl occasionally, until well mixed.

    Pour batter into prepared pans.

    Bake for 28-33 minutes until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.

    Cool for 10 minutes; remove from pans.
