  • whole milk 11 cl.
  • 5/8 cup acacia honey liquid, or thousand flowers
  • 4 1/4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 7/8 cups flour 130 grams wheat flour and 100 grams rye flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 3/4 ounces sugar cane granulated
  • salt
  • 2 15/16 tablespoons spice gingerbread
  • 5 tablespoons orange peels candied, diced

Directions

    Heat your oven to 170 degrees Celsius.

    In a saucepan, heat the milk, honey, and butter without letting them boil.

    In a bowl, pour the flours, baking soda, sugar, a pinch of salt, spices, and mix. Add the hot liquid and stir.

    Add the orange peel.

    Pour the mixture into a loaf pan lined with parchment paper.

    Bake for 50 minutes. Check with a knife that the gingerbread is cooked through.

    Let cool on a rack. Decorate with candied orange peel. Wrap in aluminium foil to keep it.
