- 12 cup molasses
- 14 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons margarine
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 cups flour
- 12 teaspoon baking soda
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 12 tablespoons ground ginger
- 12 teaspoon clove
- 12 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions

1In a saucepan bring first 4 ingredients to a boil.

2Place dry ingredients in a bowl and stir until blended.

3Add wet ingredients and stir until blended.

4Shape into a ball and wrap in wax paper.

5Chill 1 hour.

6Roll out to 1/4 inch thick and cut with a 2-inch cookie cutter.

7Place on greased cookie sheets.

8Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes.

9Let stand 2 minutes before transferring.
