- 3/4 c. oleo
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. molasses
- 1 egg
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 1 tsp. cloves
Directions

1Cream oleo and sugar.

2Add molasses and egg.

3Beat well.

4Add dry ingredients and mix well.

5Roll in small balls, dip into sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.

6Bake at 375° for 8 minutes.

7Makes about four dozen.

8If dough is too sticky to handle, add a little more flour.
