- 3 large carrots
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 tsp. instant minced onion
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 tsp. brown sugar
- dash of nutmeg
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Pare and coarsely grate carrots (about 2 to 2 1/2 cups). Place in saucepan with butter, instant onion and water.

2Cover and cook gently until carrots are tender, about 5 minutes.

3Remove from heat; stir in brown sugar, nutmeg and salt and pepper to taste.

4Makes 3 to 4 servings.
