- 8 to 10 peeled and sliced carrots
- 1 c. water
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/4 c. maple syrup
- 1 tsp. powdered mustard
Directions

1Mix carrots, water and sugar; cook for 10 minutes or until tender.

2Keep warm.

3Reserve 1/2 cup cooking liquid.

4Add butter, syrup and mustard to the 1/2 cup cooking liquid; cook 5 to 7 minutes to heavy syrup stage.

5Add carrots and cook until glazed.
