- 8 carrots
- 4 Tbsp. (1/2 stick) butter
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- salt to taste
- 1 Tbsp. minced parsley
Directions

1Scrape and slice carrots.

2Cook until tender in boiling water. Melt butter in heavy skillet.

3Add lemon juice and brown sugar. Heat, stirring, until like syrup.

4Add drain carrots.

5Stir to coat and stir in parsley.
