- 3 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon

1Cut carrots into long thin strips.

3Combine brown sugar, margarine, water, salt and cinnamon in 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.

4Microwave on High (100%) until margarine is melted, 45 seconds to 1 1/2 minutes.

5Stir to blend.

6Stir in carrots until coated.

7Cover, microwave on High (100%) until carrots are tender, 5 to 8 minutes, stirring once.
