- 16 medium carrots, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. liquid Butter Buds
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. dry instant beef broth
- 1/2 tsp. lemon peel
- 1/2 tsp. Sweet 'N Low brown sugar substitute
- 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
Directions

1In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients and bring to a boil.

2Reduce heat to low.

3Simmer, covered, 20 to 25 minutes. With slotted spoon, remove carrots to a bowl.

4Increase heat and bring to a rapid boil.

5Reduce to glaze consistency.

6Add carrots and coat evenly with glaze.
