- 1 c. chicken base or stock
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 lb. peeled and sliced carrots
- 1 medium onion, sliced
Directions

1Steam onion and carrots separately in microwave or steamer until just tender.

2Put chicken stock, cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar, onions and carrots in a pot.

3Add cornstarch and bring to a boil until thickened.
