- 8 medium carrots
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
Directions

1Scrape carrots and cut into strips 1/4 inch thick and 1 1/2 inches long.

2Place strips in a buttered casserole dish and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

3Dot with brown sugar and butter. Bake in a moderate oven (350°) for 1 1/2 hours.

4Carrots may be sliced into thin slices instead of strips, if desired.
