Glazed Carrots

  • 8 medium carrots
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar

Directions

    Scrape carrots and cut into strips 1/4 inch thick and 1 1/2 inches long.

    Place strips in a buttered casserole dish and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

    Dot with brown sugar and butter. Bake in a moderate oven (350°) for 1 1/2 hours.

    Carrots may be sliced into thin slices instead of strips, if desired.
