- 2 c. milk
- 1 stick margarine
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 eggs
- 7 to 7 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Scald milk.

2Add margarine, salt and sugar.

3Cool.

4Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water.

5Beat eggs; add milk and yeast.

6Stir in flour until not sticky.

7Let rise 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

8Punch down.

9Roll out and cut.

10Let rise again until double in bulk. Drop into hot cooking oil, then turn and brown on other side. Drain on paper towels.

11Dip in glaze.
