  • edamame
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves finely chopped
  • red pepper flakes
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons mirin Japanese dressing
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons molasses sugar
  • 1 teaspoon powdered ginger

    Mix the soy sauce, water, mirin, vinagre, sugar, and ginger.

    Put a large casserole on the stove and pour a sufficient amount of vegetable oil.

    Saute the garlic and red chilli pepper flakes.

    Add the sauce and let it sit until it begins to boil.

    Place the edamame into the casserole and stir it around for 1-2 minutes.

    Once this is done, the edamame is ready to be served. Any sauce that is left over can also be used as a dipping sauce
