- 1 lb. carrots, sliced
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/3 c. maple syrup or brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp. grated orange peel (optional)
- dash of salt
Directions

1Cook carrots in boiling water until tender (about 15 minutes). Drain.

2Add butter, syrup or brown sugar, ginger, orange peel and salt.

3Cook over low heat, stirring often, until hot.

4Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
