Glazed Peanuts

  • 24 oz. raw, shelled peanuts
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • salt

Directions

    Combine peanuts, water and sugar in saucepan; stir over medium heat until all liquid evaporates.

    Pour on cookie sheet and sprinkle with salt.

    Bake at 300° for 10 minutes.

    Remove from oven.

    Stir and return to oven for 15 minutes.

    Stir again and bake 15 minutes longer.

    Let cool and store.

    Makes approximately 6 cups.
