Glazed Pecans

  • 1 stick oleo
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 c. sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 c. shelled pecans

Directions

    Mix oleo in a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.

    Beat egg whites to a soft peak.

    Add sugar and salt; beat until very stiff.

    Fold in pecans with wooden spoon.

    Spread into melted oleo and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

    Stir every 10 minutes.

    Remove to wax paper. When cool, break into pieces.
