- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. unsalted mixed nuts
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper sauce
Directions

1Combine all ingredients in a large nonstick skillet, stirring to mix well.

2Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar melts and turns a golden color, 8 to 10 minutes.

3Remove skillet from heat immediately and spread nuts in single layer on baking sheet and cool.

4Makes 2 cups.

5Store at room temperature; will keep about 2 weeks.
