Glazed Tropical Fruit Salad

  • 2 (20 oz.) cans pineapple chunks
  • 1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges
  • 4 or 5 large, ripe bananas
  • 1 c. maraschino cherries
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 3 1/2 oz. box instant vanilla pudding

Directions

    Drain pineapple and reserve 1 1/2 cups of the juice.

    Put in bowl and add bananas, pecans, drained oranges and cherries.

    Toss fruit gently.

    In mixing bowl on high speed, beat pudding mix and pineapple juice for 2 minutes.

    Pour over fruit mixture and stir gently.

    Serves 10 to 12.
