- 1 medium cabbage, chopped fine
- 3/4 stick butter
- 1 onion, chopped fine
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 3/4 c. bread crumbs
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Boil cabbage in salted water until very tender; drain.

2Saute onions in butter until transparent.

3Add cheese and cook over low heat until cheese melts.

4Add soup and water and blend in well, over low heat; add cabbage and mix well.

5Add bread crumbs until mixture is desired consistency; stir in salt and pepper.

6Pour into a 2-quart casserole dish; sprinkle with remaining bread crumbs. Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes or until bubbly hot.
