Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. each: lemon and orange jello
  • 2 c. hot water
  • 1 1/2 c. cold water
  • squirt of lemon juice
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 3 bananas, sliced
  • 1 to 2 c. small marshmallows
  • 1 c. juice from pineapple
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/2 pt. whipped cream or Cool Whip

Directions

    Put together lemon and orange jello, hot water and lemon juice.

    Set until halfway jelled.

    Add pineapple, bananas and marshmallows; let jell.

    Combine pineapple juice (add water to equal the 1 cup), egg, sugar and flour.

    Cook until mixture is of custard consistency.

    Add margarine and stir until margarine melts completely and blends in.

    Let cool; add whipped cream or Cool Whip (to equal whipped cream).

    Spread on jello and sprinkle nuts on top.
