Ingredients

  • 2 boxes lemon jello
  • 2 (No. 2) cans crushed pineapple
  • 1 c. pineapple juice
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 (9 oz.) carton Cool Whip
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Directions

    Mix jello as usual.

    Add drained pineapple and nuts; chill until hard set.

    Blend the Cool Whip and cream cheese together and spread over jello mixture.

    Cook the pineapple and lemon juices, sugar, flour and eggs until thick; cool.

    Spread over cream cheese.

    Sprinkle nuts over top.

    Use a 9 x 12-inch dish. Refrigerate.
