- 1 c. water
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. ground pepper
- 1 c. flour
- 4 eggs
- mustard
- 1 c. finely diced gougere cheese
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425°.

2Lightly grease cookie sheet.

3Place water, butter, salt and pepper in a saucepan.

4Heat until butter is melted and mix is boiling rapidly.

5Add flour to butter; mix all at once.

6Continue cooking.

7Stir until mix forms a ball and leaves sides of pan clean.

8Remove from heat.
-
9Beat in eggs, one at a time.

10Mix well between each egg.

11Stir in all but 1 tablespoon gougere.

12Place rounded tablespoons of dough on sheet in ring shape about 8 to 9-inches round.

13Leave about 2 1/2 inches space in the middle.

14Sprinkle dough with rest of cheese.

15Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until brown.
