Ingredients

  • 1 small box elbow macaroni
  • 2 lb. ground chuck
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 c. mild or sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 2 c. Mozzarella cheese

    Preheat oven to 450°.

    Cook macaroni in boiling water until tender (add a touch of oil and 2 teaspoons of butter to prevent sticking together).

    Brown ground chuck and onion; drain off excess fat.

    Add tomato sauce, tomato paste and spices.

    Bring to a boil.

    Take off heat.

    Mix sauce with macaroni.
