- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 3/4 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
- 2 c. tomatoes (save liquid)
- 1 c. water
- 1 3/4 c. kidney beans (save liquid)
Directions

1Fry beef and onions in pan.

2Drain off fat.

3Chop tomatoes. Add tomatoes, kidney beans, chili powder, macaroni and liquids to beef mixture.

4Simmer, covered, about 20 minutes, until macaroni is tender, stirring occasionally to keep from sticking.

5Thin with a little water during cooking, if necessary.

6Makes 4 servings.
