- 1 pound Hamburger
- 1 whole Medium Onion, Diced
- 1 can (15 Oz. Size) Plain Tomato Sauce
- 1 can (15 Oz. Size) Diced Petite Tomatoes
- 2 cups Macaroni (uncooked)
- 1 can (Use Tomato Sauce Can To Measure) Water
- 1 dash Garlic Powder
Directions

1In a Dutch oven or a large stock pot, brown hamburger and onion.

2Drain and return to pot.

3Add tomato sauce and diced tomatoes (I especially like the fire-roasted variety for extra flavor).

4Add macaroni and water and a sprinkle of garlic powder.

5The key to the garlic powder is not to use too muchI would say less than 1/8 teaspoon.

6You want it there but not enough that you can taste it.

7Stir and cook for 30 minutes on medium heat until macaroni is tender and liquid is absorbed.

8Serve with crusty bread.
